Sitting at home watching hannah montana, by mallory August 19, 2009

So I ate at my dads tonight and after that we went to sonic ) so that was fun but when we got home dad and brian decided to watch some whatle wars.. if you are not aware of the nerdy-ness of this show I will provide a summary, well actually wikipedia will, but whatever:

Whale Wars is a one-hour weekly American documentary-style reality television series that premiered on November 7, 2008 on the Animal Planet cable channel. The program follows Paul Watson, founder of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, as he and his crew aboard the MV Steve Irwin attempt to deter Japanese ships that hunt minke and fin whales off the coast of Antarctica.^[1]

The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society disputes the Japanese claim that the whaling done in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary is legally accepted research and is instead banned commercially based whaling.^[2] Sea Shepherd has been both criticized and praised for tactics which include throwing stink bombs at, boarding, and attempting to disable the Japanese vessels. Due to the controversial nature of the show, Animal Planet displays the disclaimer:

“The following program contains commentary and opinions that do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Animal Planet.”

So as one can see, this show is rather nerdy. Well actually, I am not really one to talk about nerdy people but, so what So as clearly stated in the title, while my family is watching whale wars I am sitting upstairs watching hannah montana.

Every easter our neighborhood has a easter egg hunt, where all of the parents who have kids they want to participate give eggs to certain people, and those people hide the eggs and on a designated day the kids all come and find them. they also have food there like homeade cupcakes and stuff. so today emma and i went down there (just for the food) and i used my new digital camera to take pictures of the amazing cupcakes, so here is one of them

ok so last saturday i went and saw the highly anticipated “bye bye birdie”!!! it was not only super funny, but it was also the BEST bms play i have seen so far… my favorite scene was probably when they sang the “kim got pinned” song, but it was definitely very funny when while natalie was singing her “settle down” song, my little sis emma (www.emmatalk.wordpress.com) leaned over and asked “who do you think she’s talking about?” you had to have seen the play to get what an obvious question this was…. btw the video is NOT from our school play…

The Play!!! March 3, 2009

Yeaa!! I am soo excited! We have been working on Bye, Bye, Birdie since december and it is finall time for the show! I am soo happy. Although I get to have a life now, I am sad too. All of the friends I have made, in other grades, I will not get to see anymore I can’t wait until Thursday night!

my weekend… February 28, 2009

so i havent made a post in a while and i feell kinda bad about it… but thats really cause not a lot of exciting stuff has happened soooo… heres what im doing this weekend- my grandparents are in town this weekend so i want to do stuff with them, so we might go someplace, our church is having the annual share the spirt auction so i have to sing at that but i really dont want to cause i dont have annnnnnyyyyy kahki pants so i have to wear my moms awful ones that are unimanganibly ugly…, and mallorys not going to that but luckly macy is… i also have to do a ton of science homework, and im probley just gonna sit around and worry about track tryouts next monday… so thats my pretty unexciting life:)

last week we had to go back to school after our wonderful 2 week break… i already have had to do 2 quizes 2 tests and have a project assigned… so thats no fun. all mallory and i have been up to is homework, and church! small groups started back so at least we have that. so thats it… sad how boring life is.
